Faction/Realm Change

Does anyone know if you can use a realm transfer and a faction change immediately after? I know some services have a 72 hour cooldown.

Sorry, I was just updating. If you review the Character Transfer Information and Restrictions article you’ll notice that it lists a cooldown for character transfers. It also lists a cooldown if you recently boosted the character. The Article for Faction Changes does list Transfer as one of the services that will be prevented for 72 hours if you Faction Change, so be sure to Transfer first.

Tangent, but honestly it’s still pretty crappy that Realm Transfer and Faction Transfer are separate services. They go hand in hand so many times due to the faction balance on any given realm, so you end up paying $55 for a singular transfer in many cases.

“Character Transfer” should be a blanket service that lets you change Faction or Server or Account or all 3. It’s already the most expensive character service that isn’t a boost, stacking it on top itself is scummy.

Edit: Nope, sorry, Faction Change is the one that’s $5 more. Still though. Scummy.
