Faction transfer failed with, "Could not change race for character". Token is gone. Can't submit ticket

Hi. This is very frustrating.

I attempted to faction change my paladin from horde to alliance… 10 minutes later I got an error saying the game couldn’t change the character’s race. The character is now completely naked and its appearance has been randomized, but it is still horde.

The faction change token is gone completely. I went to the support site to submit a ticket but there was no topic that fit my problem. I tried to submit a generic refund ticket but every time I try to submit a ticket I get a message saying, “You can’t submit this ticket. An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later.”

When I try to connect to support via in-game I get error:-105 and nothing loads.

Can somebody please help me? This is ridiculous. My faction change has been completely wasted with no refund and no way to address the issue. Blizzard just straight up stole money from me.

Can you try the ticket path on a different Internet connection, just to see if that’ll work? I don’t have the correct ticket path link to submit on hand, sorry - hopefully someone else will drop by with it if the support page keeps erroring out.

I tried my phone, a second computer, and the in-game browser. Nothing worked.

Does it still show an error if you use a direct link to the ticket?

Hi, I changed my character avatar, so fyi it’s still the OP here.

I kept reloading the page and trying to resubmit and finally I at least got a ticket submitted. So hopefully that helps!
