I am trying to find out what patch was it when the changed was made that if a faction mount was learned (Alliance/Horde only), you also learned the opposite factions mount at the same time.

I didn’t see that in the Legion 7.2.5 patch notes

Not all changes make it in the patch notes.

Out of curiosity, why do you need the patch it was changed in?

LOL Banewolf, I am no lawyer, but when a GM tells you that it has never been part of the game, when I know the contrary is currently true, just trying to respond back properly.

Wowhead noted it was one of the undocumented changes in patch 7.2.5:

Users on Reddit & the old Forums were also noting they suddenly had mounts that weren’t previously in their collections and they weren’t limited to just the Argent Tourney mounts as mentioned in the Wowhead post:

My husband also noted around that time that he suddenly had Alliance mounts he had never bought (he only had a couple of Alliance alts but never played them).
