Why is it after around 2 decades Blizzard has not figured out how to create content that is extremely one sided. Every Ashenvale is dominated by Alliance because they outnumber Horde 2 to 1 (maybe higher). There is no reason this should still be a problem, heck even WG at least tried to combat this issue with the buff.
They made SoD horribly in Alliance’s favor with terrible design, so all the sweats went Alliance.
There is no counterbalance to that because they don’t want there to be. Aggrend flat out went to Twitter and blamed Horde for “not organizing” correctly on layers, knowing full well their layering system was randomly swapping people between layers…which stacks the deck even more in favor of the larger pop faction.
I would just wait, as people hit revered with WSG rep they will stop doing ashenvale besides the once a week 5% damage/healing buff, even then you don’t need to do anything but kill a mob and loot it during the event, zero reason to do ashenvale once you hit revered, the honor is wasted and zero rep gains from boss kills and win.
