What do you expect Blizzard to do, force people to play Alliance?
Its not my place to tell blizzard how to fix their game, it is my place to ask that they fix it.

Why didn’t people complain about faction imbalance nearly this much in daoc?
A game with this many tools and strategies for players on an outnumbered faction to win you’d think it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Really makes you think.
I will concede that a select few servers have been ruined due to free/payed transfer
Get rid of Cross-realm BG…
And allow faction specific xfers till servers are balanced… then close xfers?
and set a character creation cap for overpopulated faction?
And some kind of reward to xfering to a imbalanced faction server?
That varies on the current severity of the imbalance?

Giving incentive to horde with overbalanced server and long que times… a chance to get shorter que times… which is a reward for them?

They aren’t going to, they clearly don’t gaf about imbalance as they just saw months of imbalance killing servers as Alliance population dwindled, and decided to roll out a patch solely aimed at making Horde happy.
They’re basically doing the opposite of what they should be doing if they wanted to get players to go Alliance.

Well if you’re talkign about total faction, then alliance might have to be deleting some chars. :’)

How do you fix an issue that can’t be fixed? How do you propose blizzard enforces alliance to be out in the world as opposed to sitting in their cities?
Let’s say they imposed a faction based queue upon login, to make the server - number wise - perfectly balanced. 2,500 alliance are allowed to login and 2,500 horde are allowed to login. Of those 2,500 alliance logged in, 750 want to PvP and the rest are doing various other activities. Leveling. Crafting. Raiding. Maybe just sitting in the main city talking to guildmates. Playing the auction house.
Now, 1,250 horde players want to PvP. The rest are doing the same other activities. Guess what? Alliance are outnumbered. How do you fix that? The server is 100% balanced number wise.
Please, indulge me.
Make a new mode called Anarchy Mode (for solo/party/raid), where members of either faction become enemies and reward honor.
