So there is one PVP realm in NA. I want to play Horde. That faction is unavailable on Nightslayer due to population imbalance. I can’t even make a character. Is this gg?
I had thought maybe the AU realm was LA datacenter and tried that, but I get like 178ms so that rules that out.
It’s so over for us. I rolled hardcore instead : (

better flightpaths and ease of access to zones
don’t have to suffer playing with paladins

Horde are like 5-10% better than Alliance for PvP in Classic WoW.
This might not seem like much, but things have a cascading effect. For 20 years, the sweatiest classic pvpers have played horde. Its become cultural at this point. All of the best PvPers are playing Horde, so their hanger ons and friends follow them. The imbalance grows.
Truthfully, there’s nothing really wrong with Alliance in Classic WoW. But time and inertia have made Horde the preeminent faction for all “serious” pvpers.
EDIT: Follow that up with events like Phase 2 of 2019 and Horde’s domination of BGs in every Phase of SoD and the divide has only expanded.
Play on the pve server?
You know some people don’t play a race or faction just for racials
this… the game is telling you to play alliance

They can then play on the PvE realm with us. We dont need another 90% horde server effectively making it a PvE realm anyway.
I don’t like the Alliance zones, cities, or races. If it was about racials for my priest I’d be playing dwarf.
vanilla horde racials are the most op racials that ever existed.
it wasnt until Wotlk that humans got a comparable racial, and even then it was only because dps trinkets were so good
orc racial alone makes them near immune to rogues
+25% stun resist is good but it’s not “immunity to rogues”
It’s all so civilized… was my first impression on a expedition to ally land back in vanilla.
It was all just so normal. Some people love that aesthetic which is fine. To each his own.
Era still has Garrosh! Bonus points there. No council, we cna even pretend horde leaders aren’t anduin simps. we find that out later but for now we are good.
try it many times, i just made my horde character, after 5 hours…
