This may surprise you, but some people care about this game and its story. Welcome to the forums. If it’s “just a game” why are you even in the forums?
Most people are here because they are passionate about the game. Some have supported this franchise for a long time, longer than some players have been alive.
So either contribute meaningfully or scroll past. Your snarky and frankly dismissive remarks are unnecessary.

I don’t really care about quest/story lines, so this doesn’t fit me much. I play both factions for casual, unrated PvP. Usually “faction war” things get such a toxic feeling in PvP. Leave it for WM. I’d rather have shorter queues than the facade of “faction war.”
I used to enjoy playing both sides of the story. What I did not enjoy was having a side picked for me that made no sense for my character, e.g., having my Tauren Druid expected to fight for Sylvannas against Malfurion, when the Night Elves were our druidic mentors. So I was over faction conflict even before it officially ended.
Some of us love the stories and racing mythic timers. Competitive players, casual players… We’re mostly the same players just different moods.

And distinct classes! A Tauren shaman, for example, might have closer ties to Orcs because of his fellow shaman among them, while a Tauren druid has a long connection to working with Night Elves. It would be great if factors like these could play out more in the story.

If Blizzard decides to make WoW2 and call it Peacecraft, than that would put an end for me to play WoW.

I get what you mean! Faction wars have always been a core part of WoW’s identity. Without them, it feels like something essential is missing from the experience.

You waste your time here. These people domt want factions, they wsnt disneyflight and the peace within. They dont want cultures either everything is the same to them.
Toothless spineless weaklings. Factions are the pillar of wow and yet they have been shunned and deleted from the story and gameplay

what are you babbling about bro LOL. we literally just want faction-related choices and stories that actually matter and doesn’t amount to ‘listen to this random alliance guy whinge for a bit for the 5th year in a row then go atomize a few pig reskins that are super evil’.
this is a high fantasy game not a PSA we dont need ur ‘‘lesson’’, get off that high horse

WoW’s current story doesn’t support faction conflict, which is what validates faction-unique questing.
