Just logged in and confirmed no race/faction change.
Had my heart set on maining my boomie with my guild on horde on skyfury for phase 2. Currently stuck on alliance. Got all my professions done ahead of time and level 80 in preparation, hoping I’d get to start raiding ulduar with my guild.
context: skyfury launched and friends went alliance. got to 70 on boomie. friends got tired of queues and ultimatum to go to angerforge. fine, i guess i will reroll… they want to go horde because they had just leveled 1-70 alliance. fine, i guess i will go horde. roll spriest. angerforge dies and we transfer skyfury. friends quit the game. cool. now maybe i can play my boomie when the faction transfer comes like i originally had planned for wrath. guess that’s not happening.
Cancelling sub now. Don’t want to play shadow priest again for this phase. Unfortunate.

So yet again Blizzard has failed at releasing the promised Faction Transfer. They don’t even acknowledge the player base by answering simple questions or hinting at a release date. The amount of time that it is going to take to catch up to my friends on the opposite faction is not going to be worth it. They have had months to implement this on the Legion Client that they are using with a WotLK overlay. This just keeps adding to the long list of promised things that have either been delivered that are trash products like the LFG Tool that they said would be better functionality than RFD or they don’t deliver at all. I hope none of the Classic Team members doesn’t come over to the Retail Team side, they have been almost a complete disappointment. I am no longer going to play Classic. Good Luck and Have Fun all, it has been good while it lasted.
