Faction Change Stuck In Processing

Bought a faction change last night, over 12 hours ago, and it is still processing. Is there any way to cancel it at this point? I just want to play my Mage. This has never happened to me before and they are usually much quicker than this.

I am seeing the same issue, although it’s only been about 4 hours for me.

They can take up to 24 hours to process, even though they do usually go quicker.

There is apparently a hang up with the extended downtime, but they should hopefully start catching up. We’ve seen a few threads already ahead of yours on this issue. You can try to request a refund, but fair warning that sometimes these things will stick up a character. You can try either going straight for a refund or as a Purchase Failure ticket.

We are seeing other such reports and it is being looked into.

There is no easy way to cancel the process once it has begun.

You could put in a ticket to request it be canceled, but I’d recommend just holding off for now. We can hopefully figure out what is causing the delay and get those moving again quickly.

Thanks. I do have a ticket in but, I don’t necessarily want the purchase of the faction change refunded as I plan to use it eventually. I didn’t consider the extended downtime as people have mentioned. I guess in the future I’ll hold off on these character changes around big patch days.

Queue times have jumped with the patch so this issue will likely be resolved well before the ticket is answered, just remember to cancel the ticket once your service completes.

We’ll try to pass on any updates we get on the issue.

I’m in the exact same boat, I had a faction change that I’d bought months ago just sitting on my account, and I used it last night before bed about ~12 hours ago, still waiting. “This may take several minutes” and “wait for the process you recently iniated to complete” :expressionless:

Same issue pending over 12+ hours. A GM responded stating they’re working to identify the issue but they don’t have an ETA on a fix yet.

I just hope it gets resolved soon :frowning:

Several of the faction changes that I looked at earlier seem to have processed, so things do appear to be moving.

I wouldn’t call this resolved yet, but it does appear to be a good sign.
