I faction changed from Horde to Alliance. My paladin had WQs unlocked as well as bfa stuff done in general. Since I faction changed, I dont have a way to get to Boralus. There is a portal in mage tower but I cannot click it. Also stuck on Tides of war quest where it says to attend the war council, but the quest will not phase me to complete it. Chamber of Heart is not accessible either, its just silithus, no magni no nothing. A CS rep responded to me with a wowhead guide line on how to do the bfa quest line but Mathis shaw isnt even in SW at the harbor. He IS on the boat in boralus though. Theres something wrong on my end, very frustrating. Been sitting in SW for 7 hours combined with no fix.

You’ll want to submit a ticket so a Game Master can take a look, Vawk. Use Stuck on Quest and be sure to mention your recent faction change.

Vrakthris, I currently have an opened ticket in regards to this issue. It was a copy paste on how to do the quest line for bfa intro quest. I cannot do any quests as there are no quests to do it. The only 2 quests in SW are Tides of war ( which its not spawning the war council part) and Where the Heart is, ( which theres no magni in silithus ). The copy paste from the CS rep said to go to SW harbor and talk to Mathias Shaw. Hes not at the docks, theres nothing going on there. He is on the boat in boralus but provides nothing useful. The portal to boralus is in the Mage tower but cannot click it.

When a new patch comes out it can take a little while to discover some of the issues that arise. If your ticket was answered, please reopen it. Specify that you are unable to complete those quests, that you aren’t able to witness the council meeting or speak with Mathias, or click on the portal.

I have done all of the above. I opened this last night and still no fix with this. Can you log onto my character to see what I am talking about. Other CS reps aren’t getting the picture here. They think I dont know how to quest and am new to the game. >.<

Yeah, same issue here. Submitted a ticket yesterday and still no response yet. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. If I continue the 8.3 content, will that prevent me from accessing the Tides of War and possibly have additional issues?
I’m having the same problem with my hunter and a stupid gm linked wowhead to show me how the assault is supposed to be completed but that assault quest is bugged on my toon
Ok, so I changed factions the other day, after the 8.3 patch dropped, and the request was completed. So, I logged in to discover the Tides of War quest auto popped up. I accepted, however, when approaching the throne in SW the 8.3 scenario was only available, thus preventing me accessing the Boralus content. So I submitted a ticket and tried everything other players have stated on the forums to no avail.
Fortunately, I decided to continue the quest line for the cloak and after accomplishing the Uldum Accords quest, I went back to SW and the Tides of War Council scenario began.
Hopefully, this will help others.

This helped me. Once I went into halls of origination I was able to start the tides of war quest and open Boralus.

I’m having the same trouble. Just changed to alliance and now I cannot reach Boralus. I can’t complete tides of war either. I did halls of origination… this has not helped me. I feel like I can’t even play this character anymore…

You’ll want to submit a ticket under “Stuck on Quest” so a Game Master can take a closer look.

I had the same problem. What worked for me was to fly to Silithus (from Stormwind) to turn in the quest to Magni. Then I could come back to Stormwind and do the Black Empire Campaign again so I could get to Boralus.
