Yes it says complete. It’s not a verification issue man, a lot of people are stuck here
Im just double checking sometimes it pop up as failed and people forget to check before asking for a refund wait till morning and see what a blue has to say.
Glad to hear they’re looking into it, I got a ticket response saying there’s a backlog but assumed it was a lying automated response. I’ll just wait until the three day weekend is over I guess
So this morning would have been around 38 hours, but I logged in to an error message: “could not change race of character”. No longer processing, no faction change service available on the account. I’ll open a ticket, just FYI for those waiting.
I’m having the same issue as well. Sitting at about 15 hours now, just to add another one to the list of folks stuck in this process. Bought the token, used it, and 15 hours later, still sitting with cogs on the character unable to play it.

I’m having the same issue. Used an old faction change from a purchase months ago.
Same issue here, used the faction change almost 12 hours ago, still waiting.
There have been other reports, and one of the Support Forum Agents forwarded the issue to the back-end folks to look into. No update beyond that at this point.

Just got a reply to my ticket. The GM said to try and log into the character, which is obviously not possible as the issue is that the faction change is processing. “You cannot log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete.” I’m not sure if this problem has actually been communicated to the software team at Blizzard.
If you mean engineers, it has. Game Masters may not always be aware of every investigation that is ongoing, especially when it is still fairly new. Their standard reply is almost always going to be, please make sure to wait for 24 hours.
There is likely nothing a Game Master can do at this stage, we need to wait to hear back from the team looking into it.
Yeah, my character transfer has been going on for +35 hours now. Two GMs said to contact them after 24 hours. The third GM at 24 hours said wait it out.
It sucks because I started a character transfer on one, and a faction change on another and now here we are.
Unfortunate that something that generally takes 30 minutes to an hour has taken away my ability to play the character I’d like to be leveling right now. Shame on me for using an already overpriced service and thinking it would work properly, I suppose.
I’m not sure where anyone is saying that expecting these services to work normally is unreasonable. Of course we want these services to operate normally 100% of the time, but it is rare to find any systems or services that can do that.
It is being actively looked into so that the folks who appear stuck can hopefully get their service completed so they can access the character.
Well, I opened a ticket and explained that it failed and that I would like a refund for the service.
The GM basically said “try it again, I’m sure you can do it!” and closed the ticket.
I re-opened and linked them to this thread and informed them the service problem was under investigation. Hopefully that works.
I just would like my toon back, I haven’t been able to log into my main for about a day now and my raid is tomorrow.
So should we hold off on newfaction change requests then for the time being?
Also - kind of related, if anyone knows: if I am a dracthyr priest (A) and I faction change, can I still change off of Dracthyr(H)?
I would for now. They implemented some updates that we hope will resolve the issue, but I haven’t seen an all clear yet. I’ll be sure to post if I do.

Hello, I have recently purchased a faction change on my mage (Brøwñïëshøp) about an hour ago or so… google says I’d have to wait up to at most 24 hours for the FC process to go through. Yet, under my payment history it shows that it is complete. What else do I need to do besides waiting for it to be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
