Even if you stand in the right spot, EZ-Mine nodes take longer and don’t give anything extra. There’s no reason to stop at them unless you have your empower up and you want 2-3 extra nodes. Otherwise it’s drive-by.

I find them rather entertaining, even if I die from them. But I’ve died far more from plants that blow you off cliffs than the exploding ore.
Sometimes I don’t want to bother, sometimes I try to figure out how to get at it. If there aren’t a lot of mobs nearby, I’ll give it a go. If there are, I give it a pass.
It adds a bit of something different to just straight gathering. Hopefully yields get better over time because right now, the only reason I’ve got a toon gathering is to help level them.

This isn’t about it being on autopilot or not. EZ-Mine nodes just take like 5x longer than a normal node for no reason. They don’t give anything better than any of the other nodes.

ngl if the nodes ain’t just chilling without mobs n crap then im not gonna deal most of the time. there’s a lot of nodes to not worry about it lol.

I save my empowered to try and blow other people up. Outside of that, I skip ez nodes.

they don’t though, stand closer to them, they mine just as fast if not faster than normal nodes.
I’ve heard them described as the Venus fly trap for Bots. Though I rarely get popped when I hit n run mining ‘em
They’re hilarious when I’m mining on my DH. The key is to set it off, walk back, figure out the pattern, and figure out how to just barely not get hit.
It is doable, but I get the complaint.

I just stand a far back as I can and most times miss all the bombs. It just takes a little longer.
I thought it was hilarious. I love the variety of things they give us in mining and those dirt globs, it makes it more interesting.
