to me it feels like people are looking for reasons to cry about tanks. see how that works
Tanking feels real bad right now, makes sense nobody wants to play them. Doing any keys 6 or higher you feel as squishy as DPS as any marginally tough pull you can get 2 shot to 20% of your hp and have to pray healer can save you, it’s like everybody is a BDK now without the heal coming afterwards.

Something I noticed about TWW is there are waaaaay more tank mechanics. Being a tank is a chore and not worth playing for fun.

For me personally I’d rather que bgs, log onto my horde toon and /y at forsaken running through Brill to slow down, or just log out, rather then deal with half the nonsense pugs pull in m+.

once again flooding raid with tanks does not solve the m+ issue. they are completely different environments for a tank and raid is much more casual.

You’re a Druid. Honestly, I had the same issues but then I just went Veng since BFA, and I never looked back. Getting keys is so much easier as a tank.

while im not there in mythic, in heroic its not hard. its easier than getting almost one shot by some of the bosses in m+. allthough just a sidenote i 100% feel the blood dk changes now

We don’t have a tank shortage. We have a shortage of tanks who want to put up with PUG’s.

I don’t tank outside of it, unless it’s with them.

Tanking isn’t fun for pugs, the WoW community might be one of the single worst in the MMO circuit let alone for gaming in general.

There will always be a tank shortage. It’s even worse in this game since players are incredily entitled, usually the DPS, and now tanks don’t want to bother anymore.

Its a player made problem and there is nothing Blizzard can do to change it and the player base hates to admit that they made this bed.
I dont mind tanking, I do enjoy it sometimes, however there are times that just dont enjoy tanking in a M+ pug, either someone giving me unconstructive criticism, thinking that my route is bad and I should use routes made by Dratnos (if he still does make them that is) or from someone else even though I have got by just fine and timed dungeons without even using community made routes or because I go “too slow” even though my reasoning for going slow has to do with my defensives and or offensives (from myself and others in the group) being still on cooldown.
A new class that has a tank spec isn’t going to make people play the role, we had DKs, Monks and DHs to see this.

why no tanks…
- toxic community (why would I want to play with you??)
- dev class changes nerfing self sustain/tank agency over themselves ie. less fun to play (being mana sponge is super boring)
- overall game design to increase ‘challenging’ content is not actually ‘fun’ content to play (damage is spiky as ever and going dead in global is not fun)
