Agree with all of this. I find it hilarious that some people are “staking their claim” and refusing to entertain the idea of moving because they “got their name.” Who the hell cares? When facing the potential of a several hour queue - I truly don’t care what my name says. I’ll take a randomly-generated name if it gets me into the game faster.

My question is why is Blizzard still allowing people to create characters on these realms? I mean, I can literally log in and create a character on Herod right now. Character creation should be locked as soon as the realm hits Full status.

Currently on Pagle which is full, but will switch to a new normal est server if one is opened up.

yup I have my toons on full servers too, waiting till launch to see what the queue looks like. If it’s < 20 minutes I will just play there if not I will jump to any new medium server that I can find. I am not worried it’s going to die anytime soon, to play without long queues.
Give us more normal east realms, both are full and we have no other options

Because Blizz knows that a lot of people haven’t subbed yet because they don’t want to pay for time they won’t be playing, and their guildmates are on those realms.
People would lose their minds if their last-minute friends got shuffled off to another realm.
Personally, I agree with you 100%. Just giving what Blizz’s perspective might be.

100% Agree! Lock all FULL servers!
Locking servers will just keep players from playing with the people on that realm. That helps no one.
All east coast PVE servers are full. Where are we to go?

Only 10-15% of the player base plays on PvE realms, your voice might be heard if you scream real loud.
@Gawron - I’m not buying the argument that Blizzard should hesitate opening new servers now lest they drop in population a month later.
The reason why is because Blizzard has already stated that even a Medium-pop. server today is larger than the largest 2006 server.
So I really don’t think under-crowding is going to be the concern at all, but I’m very worried about over-crowding…
Thats why I want realm forums so I wont have to see it unless I want to chuckle a bit.
I certainly hope they open another pve east coast server b4 launch, this might be shaping up to be a shet show.

I totally agree
Lately, this is the standard for Blizzard… They would rather frustrate players (( not that they care)) than do their job and do what’s needed. After all we the player base are the ones that keep them employed otherwise they would be out of work. Also the PVE community supposedly only making up 15 % is laughable
