Can Blizzard’s word be trusted for anything? Bro if you’re expecting the maintenance to be 2 hours, just say 2 hours. What kind of janky system do you have in place where you only find out in the last 5 minutes of the hour long maintenance that you’re performing that it’ actually going to take 2 hours?

We pay for this game, and they give little to no reason for why there’s maintenance and what they’re trying to fix. Also, continually failing to meet the deadline they set themselves is not a good look.
It makes me sad that there is so many Blizzard apologists that continually try to shame paying customers for being rightfully upset and Blizzard being dishonest and inept with their tactics. Updating extended maintenance at the time its supposed to be done and doing so every hour all day long is probably the worst customer service you can have. And again I remind you these people are paying customers. Learn business…then talk
It is a little strange that they can’t determine the extension until the last few minutes.
I assume communicating the extension would take 5-10 minutes at minimum to get the info circulated to the team and posted to us, but waiting til the final minutes to say “hey its gonna be another 3 hours”, like they did on pre-patch is kind of inexcusable.
I can’t really see a realistic scenario that you don’t realize its going to take 3 extra hours 30 minutes before the scheduled resolution time.
The game is a paid service. Are we being Karens for crying about the maintenance maybe…I try not to complain to much as we don’t want blizzard to spit in our food.
