Kael'thas threat bug hopefully link works, you can check on wowhead too, the articles are still up on the TBC section. Bosses weren’t dropping certain loot items too
It’s like the type of players that join RP guilds then complain about RP. Play HC and complain about the lack of rez. Play classic and complain about the lack of retail.

i say gives us free store gifts. but what i really want is for them to change the SF (Self Found Mode) like asin increasing the drop rates or adding new items (for example, Diablo1 items, like the demonspike coat or something) just for SF Mode, or just create a SF server and test it.
imagine ill see you on the other side
So you don’t actually know if these changes will even work tomorrow until you patch live servers, because “you are currently working on the fixes” as of your post.
Or is it that you have a fix that you know works, but you’re going to make us wait until tomorrow, “just because”.
What exactly in the patch that you introduced, was causing instability.
“We plan on restarting US realms in the morning (10am Eastern, 7 Pacific) to implement these code changes and will be marking Hardcore realms live shortly thereafter.”
plot twist: the store code for tokens, pets, mounts, etc is being implemented (aka “unlocked”)
Thank you Kaivax!
But i still think a fresh HC realm is a bad idea.
I’m hoping today is the day Blizzard separates Hardcore servers from other Classic servers in the back-end, HC players having to deal with new bugs and quirks every time Season of Discovery gets an update is totally unfair. Nobody enjoys losing weeks of gametime just because you decided to give Okuyasu’s stand to Ossirian.
Testing code is literally your job.
It does seem odd you’re like “we found the problem, good night!”
Okay sure. But I bought time to specifically play Hardcore. If that service isn’t available, but it’s what I paid for. I think some mild compensation is due.
Working on fixes, without certainty, and state unequivocally that the game will be available at 10am Eastern.
Yeah sounds legit. Why wouldn’t the server be back online as soon as the fix was tested and validated?
Ikr?
Yet force customers to wait for a scheduled restart in advance
Something doesn’t sound right
We do not currently have an ETA for when Hardcore realms will open.
Thank you for your patience.
this is a extremely responsible answer LOL now I hope they could refund our money back because we do not have ETA for when we will come back and play this game
Your subscription is for retail - Classic and Hardcore are considered “Freebies”
I guess that is one way to get people more interested in the new progression servers, just take the current servers offline…
No way this is making my interest bigger - if they can’t even manage the old servers, what’s going to happen when they add the Anniversary ones to the fracas?
