I was able to get this tabard on my main and wanted to get it on a few alts as well but with the pre-patch only lasting 2 weeks and so much catch up to do I don’t see it happening unless this quest is extended. Didn’t we have a month before to get it? Between the honor grind, BE leveling and TBC prep there just isn’t enough time to do everything. The pre patch should’ve lasted a month, but we only got 2 weeks. Honestly this isn’t retail so I think the quest should be around for awhile longer at the very least.

You’ve known about this quest for 15 years and you weren’t prepared? Sure 1 alt being a Paladin would be harder to get it on but it will show which paladins did, you’ve had plenty of advanced notice and best of luck to you.
I say this as a Paladin at lvl 30 and I have don’t have this tabard on any of my 60s. Meh it’s cosmetics, I don’t care
In all fairness, remembering every little detail about a 14 year old game is not likely to happen for everyone. I had also just recently come back to the game just a couple weeks before the pre patch too. And again as I said, there is so much to do in the pre patch that finding time for it all is unreasonable unless you had a short to do list. Thats not the case for me and probably for a lot of others as well. I just think the quest should be around for awhile longer to give people time to get it on a few characters. Also, why do you care if this happens? Why do you have a problem with it? You said its just cosmetics so why you even bothered to reply here for something you don’t care about is strange.
The quest is extremely simple and easy to do.
Unless you neglected your alts heavily and they’re not even level 55 or you’re leveling multiple blood elves all you have to do is get your character out there.
My Blood Elf is 54 and I took a few days off leveling.
The quest is not the problem. Its the time we have to do it and the 55 level requirement. I already stated why for me personally its a problem and again, I can’t be expected to remember everything for a 14 year old game concerning the limited time events. In all fairness, we should have a month to get the tabard if thats how long we have before, right? Had I remembered all of this I would’ve came back sooner. I don’t see the problem with giving an extension on this. There was so much placed in a very small time period to do and honestly I just can’t keep up. I got it on my main, so I’m happy about that. My BE is level 48 and I am hoping I can push to 55 in time and get it on a BE since I don’t think BEs were even able to get the tabard back in the day, right?
That’s why the tabard will be iconic especially on blood elfs, it shows who basically capped in the pre-patch.
I agree Hazathal, I did not remember this quest from 14 years ago. I showed up an hour before portal opened and couldn’t tag anything from all the spam and lag. Things spawned grey and I only had 2 left to get tabard. Portal even opens up 5 minutes early and mobs disappeared. Crappy situation and blizzard was not willing to help in this situation. So forever I will keep my 4/6 completion into the breach quest as a nice reminder that I am supposed to watch “what to do before expansion drops” youtuber videos and that blizzard does not care about typical player bad experiences with their laggy buggy game.
Agreed. I also blame video game companies when I forget things. Just this morning I was cursing Todd Howards name when I couldn’t find my dogs new squirrel toy.
I forgot I put it in the closet because she was tearing the stuffing out.
