Expulsom sucks

It's a terrible addition to the crafting profession.
It's just one more thing tying our entire experience to RNG this expansion.
At the very least it should be made account bound, and even then it still sucks.

unless they have some kind of expulsom vendor or allow us to sell it to others,i have no need of it

the only items i scrap now are my plate items and i scrap only for the mining/ore mats

all my outdated gear/azerite pieces on all non plate wearers gets vendored

I have never scrapped any item past the quest...

it's a non thing for me.

I have never done an island Expedition past the quest either.

so many big misses for Blizz this X pac.

yeah...I just gave up entirely on crafting this expansion.
I had some fun in Legion and love the MoP crafting. Made tons of gold off MoP selling on the AH, still do.
Not interested in this crap in BfA, however.
Its just annoying more than anything.

This mat needs to be in world quests and obtainable thru gathering means that are not solely the scrapper.

I'm just miffed that cauldrons take 5 each. I go through 45 of those a week without any lucky procs. That's a LOT of expulsom for an alchemist/enchanter to have to make each week.

Even with transmute, that's only 35 of the 45 that I need.

It's tough to get for sure.

I have a tailor/enchanter that I'm wanting to get some on.

Anyone know the best way for tailor/enchanter to get expulsom?

Seems like big misses for you this Expansion. You are not scrapping all the gear we get, what are you doing with it? Materials from the scrap sell for 10x or more than the item, or you can be like me and craft 385 gear.

Island Expeditions are a great feature and a lot of fun. Besides doing them each week for the 2,500 Azerite, I run them for all the mounts, pets, Tmog weapons and armor.

Now for the topic of this thread, Expulsom needs to come from other sources. Its drop rate from scrapped gear is far too low.

LOL so true, I completely forgot about the scrapping machine.

Only professions I do now are herbs/mining and some enchanting. I have no interest in anything else really since WoD killed crafting. I found Legion made crafting more of an annoyance than anything else and really haven't delved into it much this xpac.

You know what expulsom has me do? Farm World Quests for trinkets. That's it. I finally have enough to cap and make the engineering mount but I am holding off till I have extra. Just to be safe. I don't know everything coming in 8.1 so wouldn't hurt to have them banked.

Can't fly yet anyway so making the mount when I will not use it seems dumb to me.

What makes it an absolute joke is scrapping items nets garbage materials. A fools errand basically.

I have over 100 expulsom.

Cant do a thing with it.

why farm azerite when they reset it every week?

there's a lot better things to do...

2500 Az is nothing...

I dumped proffs except mining and enchanting strictly to de stuff.

Ore and leather prices have plummeted, and if you get green mats you’ve basically lost the item. The 40-100g you get from vendoring is way more valueable

So little math in this thread.

Scrapper is hands down the best way to make casual gold in this expansion. Not even close.

Yes, some professions its worthless. So?

As to the tailoring/enchanting question above: bracers, DE the blues, scrap the greens (or scrap them all if you want to sell Gloom Dust too). Tailoring requires the Deep Sea Satin too so that is the pinch point for me. DE epics for Veiled Crystals -> Make enchants.

There will be transmute recipes for every single proff in 8.1.

Yeah love farming every trinket possible to blow mats on of the whale gear that took a month to farm. As if azerite wasn't horrid enough.....
