Exposing an arena booster

so there’s a ret paladin on my server who does boosts literally all day long. literally spamming his twitch channel like every 2 minutes in trade chat. i have been lurking in his channel for the past week now and it makes me sick to my stomach that people like this exist.

the dude literally asks his chat ,which can range between 20 to 30 viewers at a time, to pick a number between 1 and 10. the person closest to the number he was thinking of will get the free boost. now get this. IF you’re a subscriber, you will get “priority” and will be chosen ahead of someone who is not subscribed. so the scam is to get more and more players to sub to his channel so that they have a better chance of getting the free boost.

i really wish i could link this guys channel and armory so all of you can see what a booster looks like. it’s so disgusting how this guy thinks hes so skilled with his 42k hp ret paladin one shotting players at low ratings.

please everyone stop buying boosts. you actually are hurting the game. and also if it wasnt for boosts im sure this guy wouldnt have a twitch channel.

Leave Zez alone, he’s just trying to earn enough for the new Speed Master 7000xtreme Treadmill

How do you gonna stop the boosting then? Boosting system has been famous for a long time and people are used to it already. Before pvp boosting happens , M+ boosting and raiding boosting has taken place far far long time ago since the last expansions.

getting real tired of these 12 viewer andys constantly spamming their trash twitch channels everywhere. just get a real job.

most “people” living in the western world don’t have “real jobs”

Job interviewer: “what are some of your qualities?”

Streamer: “I would say I’m pretty pogchamp and 5head, I have screenshots of my twitch chat to prove it”

Interviewer - "Can you list any degrees or certifications that make you qualified for this role?

Stream - “Well, I hit Gladiator in Season 1 of Shadowlands, and carried a variety of other industry peers to Rival rank”.

Interview - “I have no idea what that means, and don’t think it’s answering the question we asked”.

Stream - “Okay, Boomer” Sadge emoji

I am not sure how Blizzard can fix it at this point. You can’t ban someone for carries. They need to just fix the system. I think if gear was not locked behind rating and they stopped letting people trade gear in pve, there would be little need for carries. I just don’t think you can do this with out hurting participation.

If they pay with money, it’s against TOS, but Blizzard has turned into the middle man since people buy tokens and then they buy carries, which is essentially the same as carries for money.

Yea Blizzard has pretty much added a P2W option. The OP did say it was a free carry tho.

Sounds like someone wished they were a successful streamer and hates their 9-5 job.
