There are YouTube videos on them and a discord dedicated to showing them, but just watching those alone will save you time guessing and you can learn them really fast. I’m talking like 30 sec

“Buy consumes”, exactly. You defend tryharding as the default expectation and normal behavior. Nobody plays casually and for fun anymore except the solo queueing newbies, who just get discouraged and quit. This is why CWrath arena died immediately, casuals vs private server Andys who had been playing it for 10 years.
People want to minmax it, fine. Give them RBGs to do it and let randoms meet randoms. My bottom line is I expect a fair match.
this. while the wsg jumps are annoying, they are do-able on all races/classes. the major jump exploit is in dalaran sewers. this jump is severely over-looked and it’s apart of a competitive arena in pvp. ONLY night-elfs and tauren can do it aswell. with this being shared, blizzard has even came out and said in a blue post that its not a bannable offense. so i do not believe they will ban a wsg jump since they won’t ban a jump in competitive arena

When I solo q I don’t always run into premades. Let’s just be honest with ourselves here, there isn’t much to do in sod rn. No, farming a rare mob and leveling alts aren’t “things to do”, we will do that regardless of level cap. I find it funny when people say there’s tons to do in sod, level an alt! When that’s just standard behavior regardless and nothing new
Grinding wsg rep is the reason there’s a bunch of lremades and it’s the only battleground out right now. But phase 2 is right around the corner and most premades will be in AB. Wsg will see some leeway here
You don’t have to buy consumes dude, but if people spend 15 silver on a fap and use it for a specific purpose you can’t really get upset. Faps exist to be used and can be dispelled anyways. Are you arguing people who put in that extra effort are not having fun but people who put in zero extra effort are?
They are going to be working on a matchmaking system next phase as they stated. Maybe it will get better for those players relating with you. It could be a good change.
I would love RBGs.
But I have to remind you that a fair match isn’t decided by 1 person popping a fap
I wasn’t aware of the dalaran jump as I don’t play the up to date xpacs. Even more evidence here!

yeah, wrath classic (original dalaran sewers) if you are a nelf or tauren you can expliot jump up the boxes (where in retail the boxes now have a ramp behind them) and blizz even came out to say its allowed. and thats in ARENA

I am trying to find it but can’t. I remember watching moonfirebeam do it on stream and he talked about how it’s not bannable and he showed the post sometime last year. apparently they did just fix it a few months ago but it still works on 1 of the 2 box/pillars still. it was even used in the tourney. you can probably find the post about it if you search enough tho

NOPE some race/size characters 100% cannot do a few of the jumps in WSG.
You can, you just need 20% movement speed. And also WSG isn’t competitive gameplay

All I was stating was the mechanical facts of it im not disputing if its morally right or not an exploit etc. Blizz isn’t going to ban anyone for doing it. It was whined about for nearly 20 years. especially during the first re-release of classic vanilla , tbc and wrath. like this isn’t new news brother (im not the person to whine your opinion about this too)
Yup and this is our chance to discover a WSG free from cheating and exploitation of terrain.
I’d love to see WSG with no consumes or outside buffs allowed.
No rocket boots or parachutes.
Just people paying the map as intended not flying all over the place and jumping up on top of crap as a way to cheapen the PvP experience and have an advantage.
Hardly whining - entirely an advocate for having a quality PvP experience without cheep tricks and terrain exploits.
I believe world buffs should disabled in BGs and also pre-mades should only fight other pre-mades with an exception of 1-3 friends queing together seems okay. These are the major problems with classic-BGs. The jumps are cheesy but not a big deal. A well skilled-knowledgeable flag runner that’s a shaman, druid or hunter can utilize tunnel shuffling and roof to connector and be more of a nuisance than someone who just does the jumps
I personally have kept a team from losing for almost an hour just doing jumps in WSG in SoD - my team 100% deserved to lose, terrible class make up, terrible gear, no healers. We won eventually because the other team basically AFKd and stopped trying.
Jumps are a HUGE deal when the other team can’t do them. Can make or break the game if someone is cheating with terrain exploits or not.
As an og classic veteran i whole heartedly agree…blizzard fix the jumps in wsg make the game what it was
