I recently turned off experience on an alt using the NPC Behsten in Stormwind to try for the Herald of the Titans title without accidentally leveling up in raid. Today, when trying to turn XP back on, Behsten no longer has the dialog option to turn back on experience.

Behsten has no option for my level 9 priest as well. He was 19 for the BGs but hadn’t logged him on in a while. I’m flagged for PvP due to the scourge invasion, so i’m not sure if that is causing it.
I’m having the same issue. Turned off xp gains and now I can’t turn them back on.

Also wondering if it’s the Scourge Invasion that’s the problem.
Also having the same problem, was gonna boost the character for the invasion. Not sure if I would be able to lvl until 50 since my boost is to lvl 48.
Also having the same problem on one of my characters. I’m 2 bars from 50 and only stopped xp for pvp at 49. I want to hit 50 and grind gear in Ice Crown ><
A GM responded to me due to my bug report submission via a ticket and asked me to delete my Twitch app, delete my Interface, WTF, and Cache folders, and then do the Scan & Repair option through the Battlenet app. I did all this and relaunched, and was still unable to turn on XP.
Read another post and found a work around.
Invite someone to your party and get them to turn their XP off, you’ll both get an XP buff and then you can go use the NPC again…
Tip the friend needs to be less than level 50. Tried with a lvl 50 friend and it doesn’t work.

I’ll see if I can find someone to help with the workaround, but I thought I’d talk to Behsten on an another alt to see if I could find any other angles. A level 50 was able to turn off XP gains and then turn it back on with no trouble, so it looks like maybe only players who had XP gains turned off before Tuesday’s update are affected.
I’m also having this problem, my alt is stuck at 45. Hoping it’s fixed quickly so we can reach 50 before SL launch!
This worked for me. I invited a level 12 to group, then they turned off xp gain. I was then able to turn my xp gain back on, and they could as well. Thank you Fangdangle.
This would be a great fix if Stormwind wasn’t a pvp zone right now.
I just tried turning my xp back on in ORG and he doesn’t give the option to do it.
Try inviting someone below level 50 to your group, and then having that person turn off their XP. That should allow you to turn your XP back on.
