As most people can see, its relatively front loaded, all content released by 66% of the authentic window. What it does mean too though, is that to be an âauthenticâ server, that PVP system has to wait for 3 months from launch, and battle grounds another 3 months from that (6 months after launch). On the PVE side of things, the first 6 months of the game will be purely farming Molten Core and Onyxia, so hopefully everyone will get their cloaks ready.
Beyond the end of the 758 Vanilla days, Blizzard has the option to create new servers (gutting old ones) or simply let it remain as is.
Iâm not sure what âMake Wikiâ does, but itâd be great to have this pinned somewhere. I bookmarked it because Iâll be referencing it as people complain about Content Patch sequencing
Its a trade off though. If they rush patches, then the âcomplete all contentâ people will want a new fresh server faster. If they slow it down, people will complain that thereâs nothing to do (even though this is Classic, deal with it). Iâd still say their best plan is to roughly meet the timelines of a 2 year game, and then decide what to do after that.
Didn´t Silithus got revamped in 1.8 and the world PvP goals added in 1.12? Would match with the phase 6 Silithus plansâŚ
This is a visual representation, how the original release schedule with initial release on 08/27/2019 would look like: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/upload/9c8d03-1562144252.png
Sure, but I doubt that thats the Phase 6 content patch. I guess that will be IG from Launch. Only PvP will be added later. Thus 1.8 Silithus is irrelevant for classics release schedule.
It would be nice to have an accelerated raid progression server so that we wouldnât have to wait so long to rip through the content but time is money and here we finally are.
In a hypothetical universe, the earliest you can expect bwl is 40 weeks past launch (which would be enough for 40 people to kill Onyxia 40x and craft 40 cloaks)⌠Theyâd have to up Onyxias drop rates to move bwl up timeline wise
