Expect more from Blizzard

They spawn a bit too slow, I think, but I have to say I could get behind the way they just spawn in order.
I really like that, especially seeing a hundred people all sat there waiting.
Really cool to see so many people in one place, imo.

For the record, I don’t know what this dude is talking about but they are pretty much the exact same color as the variations we’ve already got, but for whatever reason they appear as pieces of gear with an appearance that has not been learned.

I guess I am just watching netflix until the next rare spawns…

The alliance set isn’t the same coloration.

This…

is not this:

I wish I could, but there would be nothing else to read.
I guess I should be happy its not more politics off-topic stuff though.

What makes sense? I don’t believe this happened, but I don’t play Alliance so I have no way to know for sure.
Wowhead seems to suggest that the items are the same color but they are visually different, slightly.

Oh, so it’s Horde the one that got shafted… good to know.

Given Blizzard’s track record of not listening to feedback, you have a lot of nerve blaming the players for this.

Is OP aware that there’s been a global pandemic?

EDIT: COMPLETELY get that it’s not a total excuse but I mean, a bit of perspective can kind of help rein in expectations to a healthier level.

Shenanigans. You’re being dramatic.

Look up.

Yeah, I have no idea why. It’s like they just decided to not put any thought into it and then decided not to even continue with a different coloration for Horde.

Ironically, if you did follow this cycle you wouldn’t be saying that.
This time, they listened too much.

Oh. Have covenants abilities been fixed? How about conduits being locked to all specs?

I would say that it’s not intentional but… let’s say that the entire event left my blood boiling for very different reasons so, lack of a unique color in a set that I barely like it’s the least of my concerns.

Ya, I’m just saying I don’t have any of that gear to know for sure in game.
Those pictures look different for sure though.

Yeah, I won’t even try to unlock the Horde versions.

The feedback was there. A lot of it actually. Stop blaming the players.

To be honest, from memory, pre-expansion events are never on the level of full fledged patches. They are trivial story lead ins designed to last ~3 weeks, not full content patches designed to last ~3 months.

  • Burning Crusade? Waves of fel Orcs and demons pouring through the Dark Portal, a short quest to slay a bunch of them, and a tabard to prove you were there.
  • Wrath of the Lich King? Ghoul attacks in cities, camps in the Plaguelands lifted straight from classic Naxx, and a time gated questline to find a cure.
  • Cataclysm? Elementals attacking cities and Deathwing randomly breathing fire over leveling zones.
  • Mist of Pandaria? The Theramore getting blown up scenario.
  • Warlords of Draenor and Legion might have set a trend of bigger events, but looking back they were all actually quite simple: questline and dailies in the Blasted Lands alongside Upper Blackrock Spire introduced early, periodic Legion assaults on ~six specific zones
  • Battle for Azeroth is the only outlier in terms of the sheer quantity of content in the pre-patch: Battle of Lordaeron scenario, short questline in Silithus, War of Thorns and shortly before, the Seething Shore battleground.

I have seen people in chats and forums who expected Icecrown to be turned into a full fledged patch zone on par with Vale or Uldum in Visions of N’zoth, full of World Quests and toys and battle pets. That was never going to happen.

Does your system meet the conditions you are asking for?
Side note:
It is part of the launch to be this way. Are you a new player? You might have already said.
Be lucky you can play at all. Good times…

Been fixed is not feedback.
Covenants have undergone WAY TOO MANY changes recently, all because they keep listening to feedback.
The original feedback was due to a lack of balance.
Now, guess what its shifted to?

People are upset that they are barely impactful enough to care about.
Sounds to me like they listened too much huh?

Conduits, don’t even bring that up.
They added a whole new UI and redesigned the system needlessly for the same reasons.
