There are a ton of level 55ish toons asking people who are farming for boosting in deepholm there is obviously some form of exploit going on and just warning people incase this is one blizz decides to punish for
Are the paying in gold?
Asking for a friend
(not really)
No they are just messaging you begging for boosts
boosting levels isnt bannable lol
No but exploiting is and getting exp at 55 from 81+ mobs is definitely not intended
true ig but eh when does blizz punish anyone but actual non cheating payin customers, kinda their goto
Yeah I’m just letting people who are farming know this is probably not a smart thing to help with
Why isn’t it intended?
Just sounds like you don’t like players having fun or finding ways too boost.
Lol uhh because blizzard sells level 80 boosts?
Any method that allows super fast leveling from 1 -80 would impact said boosts sales and thus be considered an “exploit” by them
That is not the definition of an exploit.
This has nothing to do with anything.
This is completely not true
Why do people make up such crazy things. The forums never a dull moment I swear.
By your logic farming gold is an exploit because they sell WoW tokens Just because a feature is offered like Boost or WoW tokens doesn’t mean playing the game is an exploit. Players boosting other players is a natural part of the game.
According to who, exactly?
They are using the quick respawn mobs to grind levels for boosting.
Not really an exploit.
hey look
its the fun police
only thing i remember doing in deepholm was the elixir of treasure finding and farming humanoids
Well honestly if they get the same exp from 81 mobs as a level 82+ person would gain then its an exploit and not intended. If not then its just… weird why anyone would want to be there at 55+
You aren’t supposed to get exp from mobs if someone in your group is too high level.
If that’s somehow not working in deepholm it’s definitely an exploit.
I think people are overlooking how they tried to nerf/kill boosting when they read this. In a similar fashion to how you aren’t supposed to be getting levels from high level mobs being killed for you in dungeons they’re just doing it outside.
So players are reaching out to seek help in leveling.
And those players are saying…yes.
People being social and grouping in an mmo.
Not in my mmo….kill this blizzard.
That was sarcasm.
Lots of other games high/capped players do take new peeps under their wings.
In eve for example I’ll tell my 3 month month players fleet up, do as I say, get paid.
Do as I say since if they mess up, they die. Not a power trip, I don’t want them to lose their ship if possible.
I bet you’re a blast at parties.
