What happens tomorrow? Season end? If so what are we supposed to do in the game for 1.5 months until the expac?

Play house

Blizzard: “We are simplifying the game and improving the base UI to reduce the reliance on addons.”
Blizzard: Doesn’t improve the base UI by adding objective tracking.

It ends and we kill time till the new stuff.

If my incoming add ons are gone tomorrow like I said I am done sitting bases.

Not gonna stop fighting to manually type asking for help

The macros that say “incoming Location” should still work at least. That’s what I use since I couldn’t be bothered to install an addon that’s not on Curse.

I use add ons from curse and its easy. Not gonna waste time making macros for the multiple BGs at all. Just not gonna sit.

It’s a single macro. For example this one:

/run SendChatMessage(GetMinimapZoneText().." incoming 1",“INSTANCE_CHAT”)
/ping [@player] Warning

If you’re at the Lumber Mill in AB it will say into instance chat: “Lumber Mill incoming 1”
If you’re at Shrine in Deepwind Gorge it would say: “Shrine incoming 1”
And also will ping a warning on yourself.

You can edit the text as desired and change or remove the second line if you want a different ping or no ping.

Can be used in any battleground where it’s relevant.

I’ll play something else for now and wait for the dust to settle. Maybe no-addon games aren’t as bad as they seem. Lets see what happens.

Haven’t used add-ons since Wrath. Probably why I haven’t broken 2100 but that’s ok. Curious to see if my ceiling changes any with everybody else using the same base tools.

This is very helpful info. Thank you! Going to try this out asap.

It should still work in Midnight pre-patch, but with Blizzard who knows.

It’s really not that bad.

I like my BGE but everything else is just fluff. Sometimes just years of experience/awareness is all you need.
