I am exalted with The Wild Hunt (Night Fae) on one toon and got a back transmog (Faewoven pack). I created another toon, who is level 70, and is in Night Fae. I can’t use the back transmog on this new toon and the item details show I’m ineligible to transmog it because I need to be Revered with The Wild Hunt. Am I missing something? Is this intentional?
What renown rank is this character with the Night Fae? Covenant transmogs don’t unlock until you’re at renown 80.
And what’s the source of the back item (vendor, drop, renown)? Is it possible it simply isn’t eligible?
If you’re referring specifically to the reputation aspect, Warband reputation currently doesn’t go back any further than a selection from Dragonflight, if I recall correctly.
You’re going to need to report this to the bug report forums. Because I am able to use my covenant transmog appearances fine on all my toons, and I don’t think it was made intentional where one person can use transmogs on all alts but another person can’t.
Could it just be because The Ascended, The Avowed, Court of Harvesters, The Undying Army, & The Wild Hunt are all neutral factions in Shadowlands?
Granted they are aligned with the Covenants in a way (some items can only be purchased by the relevant Covenant members) but they function off normal reputation and not Renown.

My Druid is Night Fae (80 Renown) but she cannot use the Faewoven Pack yet due to her The Wild Hunt reputation not being at Revered.
However, Kyzera (who is 80 Renown with Venthyr) can use the Faewoven Pack because her The Wild Hunt reputation is exalted.
I thought the reputation requirement was only to be able to purchase it. Which seems odd if it is required for reputation in order to use it.
I dunno, as I mentioned, probably need to submit to bug report forums.
It did require Revered reputation with The Wild Hunt and being in the Night Fae Covenant to purchase, which is why my Worgen Hunter had to make the purchase.
My Druid cannot even see the Faewoven Pack in her collected transmog. Which makes sense if she is not eligible to use it.
Kyzera and my Hunter (who are both exalted) did not have any issues seeing and using the appearance.
Agreed. There are several appearances that may require the appropriate level and/or reputation to use.
Keep in mind the only reputations that are currently shared in a Warband are from Dragonflight and the War Within. Prior expansions are not yet included, so until they are, you may need to acquire the proper requirements to use it.
If you encounter something you don’t feel is working correctly though, please be sure to submit a bug report.
The highest renown with Night Fae I have is on my original toon, renown level 76. However, this was not actually a Night Fae reward, but a reputation reward from The Wild Hunt. I realize now the title of this post might be confusing. Not sure if getting to renown 80 would effect anything, sounds like perhaps not according to others.
