With blizzards choice to keep mounts expensive and the actual riding skill cheap. Then isn’t the av rep mount only going to cost 9 gold plus a cheap epic riding training? If so shouldn’t this be fixed? That would make epic riding less than 100 gold with av exalted.
Get av exalted then. Gonna be a long time without an epic mount especially in av… but you’ll get it cheaper eventually.

For everyone’s alt that’s basically a free epic mount. I think this was a over-site on blizzards side of things. AV epic mount was never intended to be a free epic mount for everyone.
If you can’t get exalted in AV, they you can buy the mount. Most of us are going to farm the gold and buy our mount at 60.
If you think getting exalted is some kind of shortcut, you have a lot to learn.

hmmm what kind of riding did u need for the AV mount or did anny of the riding skills work with it?
av wont even be out on release. Itll be a while till BGs get released anyways.
But i agree i prefer it to be the other way around too.

Exalted With AV can be done in less than a week. A lot of people are already going to grind the rep because it gives some very good epic items for a lot of classes. That’s a free epic mount basically on top of that.

Method will be exalted with AV in a week. They will grinding AV during their downtime from killing Rag in a week.

Blizzard said they are going with the old school mount cost 900g for mount 100g for training.

Mounts in classic were always cheap
RIding was crazy expensive
and was per character so getting epic riding on your main does not help your alts.
*compared to riding yes they were, the riding training was always the super expensive side.

Not true. It was cheap training/expensive mount until the TBC prepatch. Classic is using the old price structure - cheap training.

Ah 200g is still dirt cheap. If you can get the mount from a vendor for 9 gold. I’m sure blizzard didn’t think of this since the av mount was implemented when riding costed 900g. Something has to be done to fix this.
in classic epic mounts cost 1000 gold, however with your exalted rep you get a discount bringing them down to 800 gold each.
Mounts in classic are more expensive than many versions of the game. They switched it in expansions making the riding skill cost more and lessening the cost of buying mounts.
In patch 1.12 it was 900g for the riding skill. Why are people arguing about this?
hmm I do think they started at 1000g old yes, but the 2 discounts of 10% u get them by being honored and having pvp R3 or higher.
