No not according to the game. they are not ‘humans’

well i mean they dont even have to go super deep into it just make it like demon hunters, when you use an ability that requires dragon form it switch you like meta/ eye beam ect… once the animation is done again like “demon hunters” then it would switch you back immediately to draconic human form in combat its not that hard cuz they have dont it for another class already

What about for hover they would need a visage animation for that

not really i mean they can keep the dragon form for hover or even better if they want to change hover to draconic human form i would be happy lol, but more realistically just keep dragon form with hover once hover is done and you’re on the ground back to visage form but thats ofc if you activate the ability to do that, if you want to always be a dragon you can turn that ability off so everyone would have the options

ngl, I already made a dracy to hold a name i liked to use for a dracy priest.

They give me a dragonkin type of vibe, and they get more custom stuff in elf/human form.

You can still see the scales on their faces and know they were dragon born.

ps…give NE and VE more hair styles to choose from please

I think I know why Blizzard isn’t giving full visage combat and more visage race variety.

If visage form were to be changeable in the barber shop (which I support), and dracthyr could exclusively play in visage (which I also support), you’d have permanently free, constantly available aesthetic “race” changes (unintended consequence?).

Maybe that’s what the hold up is on these particular requests. I guess a solution would be that you choose your visage race on character creation, but then changing it would be impossible and today, all cosmetics are changeable. It wouldn’t be a race chance either, since it is technically a dracthyr and nobody would want to pay full price for a cosmetic change.

Unfortunately, would we be stuck with one or the other? Or would they make like… a $5 micro transaction for this one cosmetic change? Idk what the answer would be.

I am annoyed by it.

It would be like making every race the ability to be human or elf because “that is popular.”

Like vulpera could shapeshift (like kitsune.) It’s stupid.

Signed. Don’t want to use toys to hide that dragon form. Just fix it so we don’t have to use it please

Being in ‘dragon form’ seems bulky and slow in my opinion. That is the biggest reason I like being in the smaller form. Demon Hunter is light on their feet and zippy… but, the Evoker just feels like it’s ‘bulky’ and slow. JMO.

Being able to stay in visage form makes me actually want to focus on my evoker as an alt instead of rogue… dargon form is pretty gross.

nah drac and even worgs need to have a toggle
why even bother making the visage forms then?

Don’t play evoker lol…

It’s like a druid wanting not to shapeshift.

I’ll play evoker and enjoy the fact that I can stay in visage form… maybe if the dracthyr wasn’t so incredibly ugly maybe I’d want to play it? I’d enjoy a Glyph of Visage, would be great!

Dracthyr. The dragon race for people that want to be an elf.

Would be horrible.

That’s a fair opinion.

I think it’d be AMAZING.

Not the same at all.

Druids spend their lives learning to shapeshift to animal forms.

Dracys were lab experiments.

Then we got a quest from another dragon in human visage so we could learn to change into a “visage” for the benefit of others.

Not hard to write a short background lore story of “how I met your mother” when an elf/human met a dracy in visage form at an inn or tavern. Then you have a dragon born mixed race.

not the same at all.

It’s completely the same because the entire basis of wanting X is because people don’t want to look like Y.

Which is a silly reason to do something.

Would be like if someone wanted the racials but hated looking like X race thus X race can now change into Y race. (Sure throw in some convoluted reasoning.)

Instead of the more logical solution of removing racials.

Having a hard time grasping that race and class choices are a world of difference, Evoker only has one race choice and they’re ugly… being able to stay out of that form that is so incredibly unappealing is a good thing for players.

Druid is a choice… and druid forms have loads of difference choices and races to choose from.
