It’s not like they got the most amount of customization options out of any race or anything like that.
Half of Evoker ability’s involve flying, breathing fire and shooting laser beams from your mouths - why would you want to remain in visage for for this?

That doesn’t mean I need to be happy about the nonsense they pulled— and it absolutely makes no sense for Evokers.

dracthyr is not some form you turn into like a shadow form or even a druid form. That’s what the actual body is, the visage is the illusion.

Visage Form and Two Forms exist. No new animation needs to be created. What you are questioning requires a significant amount of work. Allowing a shapeshifter race to stay in an already created form, does not.
An illusion they have no problem keeping up, so could easily just be reapplied whenever they want.
Noones saying you can’t play your dragon form 24/7 of you enjoy it.
Hell, if they just pulled their finger out and add tmogs to the damn race I’m sure more people would like it, but right now it’s a low effort almost moonkin like side thought.
Not in combat, evoker can stay in human not in combat as well I main one
They work the same function, worgen can turn into human while out of combat. I actually like the idea stay in human form and not change into dragon or worgen in combat
Same reason that I want to stay in human when playing my evoker. I like to have 2 appearances
Why is it a bad precedent if that’s what some players want to do?
You can create Human Death Knights and just play Human if you want your Worgen to be Human all the time. I’m not able to just make a Blood Elf Evoker if I don’t like being a dragon, I have to be Dracthyr. There’s no other option available.
That’s why people are pushing so hard for permanent visage, because Blizzard has made it very clear that Evokers aren’t going to other races and it’s the only form of compromise available for someone who likes the playstyle but not the race it’s tied to.

Meh, they giving more class to the dragon race and they giving other class besides evoker to permanently stay in visage form. I think they really want keep evoker in dragon form

They’re still Dracthyr and still Evokers, just less ugly.
Dracthyr should have never been given visage form to keep these elf players away… imagine if al lthe development time they spent making visages was spent on just making dracthyr model better,

why pick a dragon race to play in their “human” form? its like picking worgen and playing as a human. lol
Better off arguing for racials to be detached from race. (In the case of Worgen.)
I wish visage never existed as a concept for Dracthyr. The only reason added was because Blizzard was worried Dracthyr wouldn’t be a hit.

And our two visage forms- human and belf (why belf) when we weren’t greeted with blood elves and Ebonhorn was a tauren lol.
