I mean yes, but here is the other option where if you Fire breath/deep breath/ hover/ breath or eons ect… right the ones that physically changes you you would get the animation in the dragon form when you use it but also once its done changes you back immediately while still in combat to the human form thats should be an option

Oh yea i agree with you in this regard. I’d love the option for the dragon form to work more like meta, put you in it for the duration of certain abilites and auto put you back

Like no one here is advocating for deleting the dragon form at all, its just having the option
But Wrathion has to teach us Visage form. We didn’t know we could have any other form until then.
We may have been in stasis for thousands of years, but it was in Drac. form not visage form. Neltharion created the dragon form, not visage form.
Wrathion taught us visage form as since we do have dragon blood, we do have the ability to choose a visage. But, our true form is Dracthyr.
Visage is just that, a visage.
We aren’t our visage, we are Dracthyr who have the ability to take on a visage. Not the other way around.

that is not true, the beginning of the WoW story every single dragon has a visage form, and yes we are our visage form we chose it for a reason and chromie specifically has a part in the lore where she explains why shes a gnome

there is more than just hair, if you think its just that then you havent put effort into actually looking at dracthyr customization
We aren’t dragons though, we are quasi dragons, created by Neltharion as Dracthyr. We are not fully dragons.
We have some dragon abilities, but we still are not dragons. So we can’t be compaired to Kalec or the other true dragons.
We know a gnome visage is possible. We dont know why you would do that though.

For me it’s just about control. I love both forms but sometimes I just wanna fight as my visage.
When I’m fighting like a human rogue with a lil knife it feels kinda overkill to be all dragon form , or of I’m fending off some bugs on a dungeon do I really need to be in my dragon form, nah I’m chilling .
But when I’m fighting a void monster I need to go all out, full force dragon baddie .
It’s just more fun to have more control.
For my warrior when I’m in combat I’m only gonna be in dragon form .
My mage, will likely only turn into a dragon on very rare occasions
My priest will likely stay as a dragon and an oracle dragon priest at that! Giving out blessings!
Also I’m sorry but a visage form evokes hovering around and casting spells while floating around would be peak fantasy mage game play. PEAK !!
It’s wasted potential.

I can glide in my visage form and melee in it but i cant do any of my magic attacks in visage form nor can i fly in it…seems contradictory if you ask me, and the fact that they can instantly just POOF back and forth means that they 100% could just let the animations play in visage form…
