Wants to play a dragon race but doesn’t want to be dragon… Hmm I think there’s something going on here. It was the double jump and racials you wanted not the drac’thyr form wasn’t it? You don’t even like the way they look!
You and everyone who are requesting this non sense, are the one who should be playing humans or elfs. What is the point of creating a dragon race but playing in humanoid form?
Evoker powers comes from their real body not from a disguise. If you don’t like their real look you should not even playing them.
Visage form should not even exist, and Dracthyr real body should have full transmorg enable. That is what Evoker players should being requesting.

I’m convinced the only reason visage even exists is due to marketing.
It makes no sense that horde dracthyr try to take on a blood elf form, in Orgrimmar when the city is of orcs, and the one with experience is a Tauren.
At least, Stormwind is run by humans.
Semi-permanent visage is a more realistic goal imo. 
This I can get on board with. The issue isn’t that Dracthyr exist for the people who want them, it’s that Evoker is tied to them in a way that forces the people who don’t to play them.
As has been repeated a thousand times, I don’t want to play dragon, I have to in order to play my class. If I had the option to play literally anything else and still play my class, I would be and none of this would be an issue.
And what about the people who don’t want to play elf, but want to play Demon Hunter?
It’s a poor idea to butcher lore just to placate players.
I love it when Ebonhorn is like “Oh your visage is how you want other races to see you. I picked a Highmountain tauren.”

Don’t get me wrong, I think no visage is the best visage buuuuut since we know Blizzard is too scared to do that, they could at least let us pick how we want to look from the playable races.
So you want to be a human male flapping your arms around and flying above breathing fire on things below? Well you can’t! You’re an elite dragon person and that’s the way it is. You either accept it or you lose it wishing that twinkies were health food, and that just isn’t going to happen!
You picked the wrong class cause you are a dragon thing and that will never ever change.
Visage should’ve been orc or tauren (including highmountain) if they wanted to limit it to one race.

Man I wish I just had choices. I have three Dracthyr (two are waiting race changes). Two Horde, one Alliance. My two Horde would be tauren and HMT. My Alliance would be a dwarf, preferably Dark Iron.
I’m so sick and tired of elves and humans.
Edit: and the funny thing is, I wouldn’t even use my visage because I think visages for worgen and Drakthyr are stupid. I would just pick those races on principal.

Then they can come up with a compromise that allows them to do so without playing elf the same way the people pushing visage as a compromise have. It solves the issues present in gameplay as a purely cosmetic option. The people who don’t want to use it don’t have to turn it on.
I’m also not against just opening DH to more races so that people have more choice available to them.

And TBF I get that argument. However, I also get Ion reasoning.
To be an Evoker you do need wings and the ability to breathe fire. Atm there are no races that come with that.
DHs have to “eat” the soul of a demon to do evoker-like abilities but when they do that they become DHs… not dragons.
I’m sure Blizzard will come up with another winged race that can breathe fire or maybe different body options for Dracthyr in the future. I hope.
What if I want a warrior that uses shadow magic?
Maybe warrior class is OP. Cosmetics mean a lot.
Just let other races go into a covenant/pact with a dragon to use the powers like a warlock and its demons hard to imagine in a world filled to the brim with magic that they cant inbune other races with dragon power but literal old gods and demons can do it (with their power) no problem at all? come off it…HELL we literally fighting a corpse that’s being used by and old god…
All this talk of class and lore accurate is crap when the people who make this stuff can change it however and whenever they want…
Yes, and suddenly, WOW can become not wow.
Just because something can be imagined, doesn’t mean I want to see it.
Imagine transporting something from Naruto or Dragon Ball into WOW. (Yes, I know copyright and all that, but not like companies can’t do crossovers.)
Lore accuracy matters, and the less retcons or stuff like Lightforged Draenei Warlocks the better.
Then have wings appear for the wing abilities.
Every dragon picks a form of whatever races.
Thats a copout answer from that elitist jerks guy in a game that already put the lore in a ninja blender.
We got deathknight mechanical gnomes, and demonhunters with wings… like cmon man don’t eat that silliness up from blizz haha
