Evokers can already cast most of their spells in Visage, it uses the blood elf/human casting animations and /roar for aug empowers. If you don’t use the charged abilities or the clawy instant spell you can even stay in Visage for the entire fight.
Literally nothing stops Blizzard from letting Evokers revert back to Visage after casting a breath or whatever other ability that would normally transform them into their dragon form.
Nothing. They just don’t want to.
The solution to this is quite simple, actually. Just make Evokers remain in Visage form at all times except during those spells that require a dragon form.
So this would work like this:
Visage casts dragon breath → turns into dracthyr → finishes dragon breath → turns back to visage form
All I see here is the High Elf argument reloaded, and ignoring that Blood Elves ‘are’ High Elves.
You chose to be a Dracthyr. Your not a ‘Visage Evoker’. Your a Dracthyr Evoker.
What’s your source for “the majority” you keep spewing about? Speak for yourself and no one else.
How does that in any way shape or form compare to dracthyr?
We chose Evoker, we didn’t have a choice with the race… it’s being shoved down our throats because the class is enjoyable to play. We just want to not look gross.

Evoker is the class based around dragon abilities. Asking to be human while doing so is incredibly dense
Wrong. You choose to be an Evoker, you are FORCED to be Dracthyr.
If you enjoy the class’ gameplay but can’t stand the lame snake form guess you just can’t play the entire class then.
Letting people just pop in and out of Visage depending on what they cast would literally fix it with no consequences for anyone who prefers to be a lizard at all times.

Like the class, hate the only race it can be… maybe if blizzard expanded on it, no one would complain.

Because the class is expressly designed for the race. End of story. You don’t have to be happy with it but that is the design vision of the class

It’s a simple change, it doesn’t hurt you or anyone else… a simple glyph and they make the majority of players who play and want to play the class happy.
Cope with what Blizzard has put in their game, or play a different game.
In my opinion blood/void elves and humans are VASTLY superior to the Dracthyr humanoid form.
I played Dracthyr in Dragonflight to play as a dragon. Are they dragons? No. Is it as close as we’ll likely ever get to playing as one? Yes. It’s the whole appeal of the race, same to me as worgen (on which I rarely ever use the human form for much the same reason).
Why so many people like the visage form I can’t understand, but to each their own.
Get new material and stop embarrassing yourself. Some people like consistency with their design
