Running Magisters terrance today, just reminded me once again that the change in voice actors really just kinda dampens Kael’thas a villian.
There’s nowhere near the same amount of manic tone behind Kael’thas anymore, he just sounds bored and tired now.
I really wish we could have the old voice actor back.
Yeah turned off game sounds so that my experience is not ruined.

It’s wild that Blizzard was so fast to virtue signal with Swifty and KT’s original VA, but let years of unchecked sexual harassments go on in their own company and have spent a lot of time and effort trying to undermine the complaints.

It’s funny because today when I did MGT I was like why is my NPC voice sound off. Then I remembered I turned it off in t5 when we got to Kael cause it was weird not hearing the OG guy.

I thought it sounded different when running it today. The new voice over just sounds like there’s no heart in it at all. The allegations against him were indeed false. Just awful people being awful to other people the only thing I seen from that whole thing.
It’s not that he’s bad, it’s that he’s different.
They replaced an iconic performance and it turns out he was innocent. It’s dumb.
Yeah, either way I think he sounds fine. Some of the lines are worse but I like some of them better. His blood curdling scream when dying in Magisters Terrace I think sounds better now, for example.
People hating on the guy should just be directing it towards Blizzard. Happens a lot, people just directing their anger in the wrong direction.
I agree its messed up that even after the allegations were proven to be false and in fact made by the voice actor’s stalker, blizz does not restore the work.
In essence, blizz is supporting the abuser here, giving her power over her victim by helping her to erase her victim’s contributions to society.

When I ran this dungeon in original tbc the voice line and music gave me chills,was epic. Now hearing it, just takes my attention away from the game and onto the company and how awful their decisions are. Thanks for ruining my favourite dungeon
Seems that bad people tend to project the evils they do onto others. Maybe its to throw people off their sent?
