Allied Races still locked is mind boggling

I really don’t understand and I can’t wrap my head around the insane levels of rep grind needed to unlock the Allied Races. You have literally LOST more than 50% of your player base in the last 5 months and yet the decision to keep Allied races locked behind rep grinds is utterly confusing to me. In my case, I recently unlocked Mag’har after becoming exalted with Honorbound and now have to get honoured with the 7th legion to play Dark Iron – I mean what the hell is wrong with you guys?
