So I noticed a fun situation ever since the new patch where every time I log off and back onto a character, everything on my hotbars just disappear and I have to set everything back up. Is this a known bug or is there a way to fix this?

We are aware this is happening and working on a fix. Currently no workaround to keep the bars from clearing.
Currently having this issue on one character. I cannot reproduce this issue on any other character. The work around to edit the UI is not fixing this issue.

The problem is on the talent screen. Using an existing talent profile causes the issue. If I create a new load out the issue is resolve. Going back to the previous load out, a load out used before pre-patch the issue exists.

I am having this issue on a new character that has no preexisting loadout.
Well, at least all I wanted to do with the update is make a new dracthyr so not much to worry about unless this fix takes too long.

is there a way to restore them from a full game backup?
hi blizz, have you ever had to redo your whole ui with over 60 buttons over and over after every relog? friggin sucks. i hope this gets fixed soon b/c this is unplayable.
I was experiencing the same issue(only on one of my computers but not the other, interestingly) On the system i was having the issue with, (because another post in the thread) I created a new talent loadout and it kept the action bar assignments after logging out and back in. Logging into another character, where i had not made another talent loadout, the issue persisted. Made another talent loadout on that character, this also allowed the actionbar assignments to persist through logging out and back in.

Even though I had the default and no preexisting talent loadouts I also changed mine to a named loadout alternate as did my husband. Both of them saved and we can now log in and out without losing our bars! Thank you!

Thank you for posting that workaround, I’ve sent that to the team so they know that worked. It might help them narrow down what’s going on.

i have made alternate loadouts both for talents + UI land saved them: this does not work at all.
edit. just re-did my ui then i saved them to new locations, relogged, and now it’s all gone again. i can swap between all the load outs and they are all reset.
edit2. this bug only happens on my mist weaver monk, my holy priest (fingers crossed) has been untouched so far.

Tiring to keep re-adding all my spells to the bars…
I have tried alternate loadouts, etc… Nothing HELPS!
Same, it has only affected my new character that I made yesterday so far, but it’s the one I WANT to play lol. And nothing works on my end. The second I switch or log off it blanks the bars
this is my monk and it’s the char that always has her bars reset on relog no matter what i do. having to spend 1-2 hours redoing my stuff over and over is getting real old.
yeah I tried several of these work arounds and none of them work. my skills keep clearing on the hotbars…
This is happening to me as well, but only on a new boosted 70.
This is only happening to my horde warlock Viper on Zul’jin.
It currently only happening too my warlock’s Demonlogy build. My Destro spec didn’t lose action bars unless there is a fix already out.
