I currently have an active ticket, but would like to try to get this issue resolved before Dragonflight is released. When I logged onto my WoW account everything was wiped clean. No characters, no achievements, no collections, nothing. I have been looking for ways to remedy this issue but none have worked. I have created a new character on a realm that i had previous characters on, I have deleted my Battle.net cache folder, I’ve tried using the recover deleted character option, I’ve checked the other accounts linked to my Battle.net account. There were other characters on another one of my accounts but no acheivements or collections and none of the characters I remember. I was able to armory some of the characters that i could remember on the account I had.
Did you have them merge battlenet accounts recently?
You need to open a ticket, you cannot fix this yourself.
I have never merged any of my accounts. I have a ticket open but i feel 28 days is crazy for an issue like this. I have been leveling alts to 50 through dungeon finder this past week but after 2nd phase in pre-patch i would like to use my BoA gear and mounts and be able to fly in zones that are better for questing.
Unfortunately ticket times are averaging 2 weeks.
Ya it says 23 days 13hrs average wait time on this ticket. I was hoping that there was something I could possibly do to fix this myself
You might want to make sure you’re selecting the correct WoW license. There have been several cases where players didn’t know they had a second WoW account attached to their Battle.net account and were selecting it and seeing unexpected things.
Generally speaking, that kind of information doesn’t just disappear. If there were an issue that caused something like that, it would likely be impacting a lot of accounts.
In your case, Fomunda, the Battle.net account you are posting on doesn’t contain the WoW license those characters are on.
The email for that Battle.net is very similar but it is an @ymail.com address and not a @gmail.com.
You’ll find both of the listed characters there.
You also have characters on Alleria, Dalaran, Dawnbringer, and Illidan.
Thank you for your help. I was able to recover that account. Unfortunately it is not linked to the same battle.net. Is there any way that i could link these accounts together so i could have my achievements, mounts, and BoAs and not have to start remaking characters?
There is a way to transfer a WoW account from one battle.net to another, but it leaves behind any account bound items/mounts/achievement/etc. as anything account-wide will not transfer over.
If you wish to move a WoW account, you will need to open a ticket, but there is currently an issue with moving wow accounts so they are on hold until they can resolve that issue.
