Everything that glows or is translucent is now blue.
Yes, I’m also seeing lots of blue blotches, even on players. When I do Whirling Surge the trails left behind are solid neon blue.
now listen up ehres a story about a little guy who lived in a blue world
Came here with the same experience, glad I’m not the only one.
When I came back this evening it was back to normal … until I went back to the character selection screen a bit later and the warband scene had blue blotches all over the place.
i rebooted and resumed and haven’t seen it again since, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes back.
it will come back unfortunately, only been experiencing it with textures specifically in the azure span though
I’ve been having this issue too. Everything looks normal when I travel to Bastion.
What mac are you all using and what macOS version?
Noticed that now priests are blue as well. I am running an older Intel based iMac. I will try to see if the issue pops up on my other Macs. When you go into an instance, the malfunction doesn’t occur. Running the Mists of Pandaria looks very different and not as ominous with all the lovely blue flowers.
I’m on an oldie… 2016 Intel Mac running macOS Monterey 12.7.5.
iMac 21.5", version macOS 14.5
2020 iMac Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB
Sonoma 14.5
2019 iMac Intel Core i5
Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB
Sonoma 14.5
In the graphic options try disabling all of the new compatibility graphic options that were just put into the game with the latest update and see if that helps at all.
Unchecking “Optional GPU Features” under Compatibility Settings seems to have solved it for me. I haven’t seen the problem come back after about an hour with this setting turned off.
2018 Mac Mini i5 with RX580 8GB via eGPU
Sonoma 14.5
That is great to hear. The Mac version of the game at the moment is very buggy unfortunately.
This worked for me. Thank you!
that would massively drop performance
What I’ve heard is work around is toggling ANY graphics setting, then toggling it back (basically trigger a graphics restart) solves it without sacrificing half your fps. But that’s just what I’ve heard, since I don’t have issue I cannot test issue.
That sounds suspiciously like the old compute bug with nVidia hardware in macOS where in SL zones you’d get pink/chunky and blocky compute effects unless you enabled and then disabled compute on each and every login. Sounds like a version of that issue for AMD/Intel, which wouldn’t surprise me given the lack of driver updates for non-M Series Macs.
