Always interesting to see the people who claim raiding must be the end all be all continuously argue to end their own content. Without the casuals, neither raiding nor this game would exist. So tell me, why does it matter if other people have a different way to earn the same ilvl gear? How does it negatively impact anything other than your ego?

I doubt they actually want difficulty, they wanna trivialize content as much as possible to maximize their gains out of the game, eg “sales”. The more powerful you are, the less players you need to do the content, the more slots you have open for sales. takes off tin foil hat

Raiding is literally the end all… it has nothing to do with ego. It has to do with absolute basic video game design. The higher the level the content the higher the level the reward. It’s not rocket science. Gear I’m looting off of a literal god shouldn’t be the same as someone who spent 5 minutes on a random irrelevant quest. Of course the big baddy is gonna have the big baddy gear.

The thing is if there is another easier way to gear up raiders would do that to better prepare for raid.

And what’s the reward for raid gonna be? Why do the harder content? It must offer higher rewards.

Then we’re back were we started.
You can’t blame players for optimizing when playing a game.

Not really. We currently have three endgame paths available in shadowlands. What’s one more going to hurt?

Nope, mythic raiding is the highest level and drops the highest level gear.

The same reward as any other content. The fun of doing that content while progressing your character. Why is this so hard for people to understand? It’s almost like all the raiders are saying that raiding is so miserable that no one would do it if they had any other option.

But they already HAVE those same rewards before doing the raid. They got it from the easier solo content.

A higher challenge deserves higher rewards to be fun.
Really, fun happens when we overcome a challenge and are rewarded for it.
