Did those d@d events run for 6 months continuously?
This is a video game, not Valhalla. Get a grip.
Its an RPGâŚbuilding your characters is at the core of the gameâŚdoesnt mean everyone has to do it the same way but everyone should be able to get thereâŚ
I think they need to introduce difficult solo content like torghast but with gearing progressionâŚand visions. Iâm not a fan of timed content but scaling difficulty would be great.
A lot of mythic raiders would struggle in increasing difficulty solo content I have no doubtâŚsome would do fine. Many solo âcasualâ players would perform well in diablo style increasing difficulty solo dungeons.
People should really get it in their heads that raiding isnt a skill gap problem its the social barrier for manyâŚnothing to do with skill.
uhâŚValhalla is in this video game.
That argument works both waysâŚ
No one is forcing you to do anything. We are simply pointing out that to get what you claim to want requires raiding. However, it should be noted that to do what you say you want doesnât require raid gearâŚ

People have forgotten that RPGs are about building your OWN character, i can bet more than half the playerbase these days doesnt even read their talents and just chooses what a guide tells them which is why they are often clueless about some interactions

You can easily do even mythic with sub optimal class and specs as long as you have 20 decent ppl that can do mechanics, with the amoutn of gear we have after a few months we have more than enough dps to not need optimality.
Sure. How else did you expect to get past level 5?
When the content is the leveling, like any MMORPG should focus on, you donât level in 8 hours than spend 6 months trying to find something to do.
Worthy? I donât agree with Ralph, but you make it like Raiders are superior to non raiders as human beings. Now thatâs just as crazy.
Elitism deep down is a psychological need to tell yourself you are better than others, doesnât need to be true, which is why pve is such an attractive mode for these ppl
youâre a pro or youâre a noob. thatâs life. ~Athene
I donât have an issue with someone who runs mythic raids having better gear than someone who only runs LFR.
And I donât have an issue with someone who does rated arena having superior gear to someone only doing random battlegrounds. What I do have an issue with is someone doing only raiding or mythic having better gear for pvp than those only doing rated arena or rated battlegrounds.
This is the crux of your problem: You see WoW as an RPG but itâs not. Itâs an MMO with RPG elements.
Yâall want to reduce WoW to a game you can play on your PS4 or something and that is NOT what WoW is or will be.
There are tons of RPG games out there that will give you the D&D fantasy that WoW does where you can get all the stuff other people get with less effort. Go play those.
Otherwise, understand that raiding is a cornerstone of WoW, always has been, and theyâre going to back to a time when raiding (and harder content) MEANT something in the game.
Build, not be handedâŚ
If thatâs true, you shouldnât need that stuff either.
The amount of likes in the OP disagree big time
A solo path to equal gear rewards must be very challenging content, it must justify rewarding the same as the hardest group content.
The game absolutely needs more harder solo content, blizzard simply needs to start using that as a real path of solo progression rather than what visions were which was just ultra repetitive and didnt even drop half the gear slots
