You mean like wildstar that catered to the 1% and died… casuals pay for your raids.
I’m fine with that. I think it would be fun, and it’s what I hope they do with Torghast.
Once again I already destroyed your argument just like the others have. Either learn to read or find another game to play. You’re either trolling right now or just not a smart person. It’s one or the other.
So you want WoW to shut down?
You do know you’re defending the take of someone that got range banned from 4chan right?
Ha! So much salt because I’m not here to feed your ego.
I don’t have an ego. I’m a casual player. I just have an IQ above 30.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
No it actually was more popular when things were like this
Look at the current gearing model. If all you do is world content, you’ll cap a little over 450 if you’re including vision gear, cloak, neck, etc. There will definitely be a point you won’t get higher, and at 450 even without corruptions you absolutely destroy anything in the content you’re trying to achieve. If you do high end content, you’ll cap out closer to 480. It’s still a cap. It’s not a never ending progression cycle. And doing world content, 450 doesn’t feel that much more powerful than 480 so again, unless you’re doing higher end content where you can actually feel that powerlevel, what’s it really matter?
Wildstar died because marketing. Not a lot of people knew what it was about until it was dying.
There’s plenty of content to do outside of raiding, that content just provides different rewards than gear. You get to choose what rewards you want and work towards that. If you want gear, then do the content that offers gear. It’s really simple.
Very different gaming landscape back then. If WoW released today, it would never become the juggernaut it is.
Didn’t they shut down their servers? I only heard that second hand.
You don’t know that.
Because it gives players something meaningful to work towards. If it didn’t matter, then why have gear progression at all? Why don’t mythic raids cap at 450?
I only have to look at every western MMO that’s released in the last 10 years to know that.
Yeah it shut down like a year ago. It seemed like a good game but it started feeling empty after the launch hype.
The fact that world content caps as high as it already does makes playing most content feel meaningless, meaning less people even bother. If people only did things for the challenge alone, it would barely be done. This is why 90% of keys are done at 15 and lower, and you actually do get rewarded (albeit very slightly) for going higher. Sorry, but you are by yourself on this one. Oh, I’m sorry, you got the renowned troll for an OP on your corner. So 2 against the world.
Cause they all copied WoW.
I’ve had worse odds. At least I don’t have to feel bad about using him as a living shield.
Does sound like if that is an actual problem, they should focus on making more engaging and enjoyable content though…
