Which goes back to my first post, that there should be a mode for equal gear PvP. We’ll see how many people really like it.

I think you can go play the tournament realm for that.
I bet they only have one server in North America.
I mean realistically they get better funding if they win so ya, they would get better gear and better areas to train in. It’s almost like you need to put in effort…

Say they draft a new player in. He wouldn’t have to play half the games with a weight around his leg, right? Equal opportunity.
You get drafted in by your skill and effort. There not going to draft in players that put no effort in.

Yeah, so if I get drafted into an arena team, do I get access to the best gear immediately, like the football player would?
Sure, for a limited time arena event. They don’t get it in the game. They are also top players with multiple glads under their belt. That’s like comparing fantasy football with real football.

So, in a game with 160,000,000 subscribers, only a few get access to equal gear to their opponents.
It’s the only reason why most people play this game. I love gear based PvP. The main part of it is the gear grind and attaining crazy powers then using that power in PvP.
Gear based PvP is the real PvP. I’d like gear to have more of an impact though. Hope they introduce Legendaries or Titan powers in TWW.

For a limited time in an arene event with other players that also get gear… this is a terrible comparison.

I’d be more interested in chess if there was power progression and I could level up my pawns. That would be dope.
Again most of us are here for the RPG aspect (gear based power) progression. If you remove that there just isn’t a reason to play the game. We want power fantasy and to go on Epic adventures that grant us crazy items to use.
Look at this game more like Infinity War where you are Thor and before fighting Thanos you need to go on a journey to get a God killing weapon. You need to get Stormbringer. You have skill but still need power and a weapon. That is WoW PvP.

PvP is a competitive sport in my eyes. I like equal games. I would like if Wow gave that as an option.

It can be competitive once you get the gear and power to compete. Stop trying to remove step 1.
