Considering they’re removing the limit on how many players can be R14 on any week makes a bit of a difference. Whether you want to recognize it or not.

Id say we gotten off course from the original point, but unfortunately, no matter how good the intention of such a community involved system, it likely has hurt some as much as it helped.
Such systems always establish a clique/crowd who you have to be in the good graces with and often are easily corrupted.

Faster doesn’t not mean easier.
Since the launch of pvp rewards. You suddenly seem to care how this affects the other spheres of the game 3.5 years later.
Projection. That would be your assumption that all realms’ ranking environments match your own or that, just because more players are in your specific cluster, it matters more even if others elswhere are negatively affected.
There will be more people with R13/14 gear.
Probably not as many as you think.
Even if they put the cap at 500k, that’s still a heck of a grind for a lot of people.
Classic raiding just isn’t THAT hard.

You don’t have to hit the cap to hit R14.
You just have to hit above the floor.
Which is why, apparently, the OP seems to be so concerned about what other people are getting. No matter how overwrought someone gets about people achieving anything (including rank) in this game others did it almost 20 years ago already.

Why would they go to ZG when PvPing is more rewarding now?
I’ll admit that I don’t entirely understand how the new system works, however, it’s still my understanding that top ranks are going to take a pretty big commitment.

More so the fact I can get R14 on any of my toons with hardly any work.
And those who don’t have R14 won’t be as likely to get into pugs. Because it will be attainable.
By October/November there’s going to be a lot of players with weird necks, bracers, and belts.
Why is that a problem for you?
