I tried this once.
He pulled some looneytunes nonsense on me and mined that mfer and go away and somehow I got clipped by the explosion and died.
I shot soda out of my nose laughing. It was deserved.
The only dang thing I hate about those mine sets is you take time to get the node without killing yourself…and only to get one bloody piece of ore off it…grrrrrrrrrr

Hilarious the punishment people will put up with to “stop” bots, a bot could easily ignore every single one of these nodes and farm more than enough by doing it 24/7. These are the same people that said not having normal flying was a “good thing” since it “stopped” bots, even though bots have been proven to use DR just fine.
The original design was if hit up to 2 pieces of equipped gear could be destroyed by the blast. This would have been far more engaging and challenging and it’s a shame they did not go with that over what they put in now.
Goblins love them. They make explosions. That’s why we rig all these nodes up with bombs all the time.
Now, if you excuse me, I have more bombs to plant. Er… mine. Strapping bombs to herbs is a future project.

Yes i do like EZ- mine nodes. I have zero issues with them.

Yeah this and the irradiated herbs. Obvious bot things. Still, wish they didnt exist.
I’m not even a miner, and I like them because I’ve triggered them a few times lol. Just by being near them.
Tbh, I wish more mundane things would lead to death, it’s hilarious lol.

Truth be told, I also hate the EZ-Mine nodes. I also don’t think it’s quite the solution against bots so many people seem to think it is. It might slow them down but it’s metaphorically treating a symptom, and I highly doubt it’ll be effective for long if it truly is at all.

It does work though. Because bots are run with a script and pathing. The nodes exploding and knocking them back breaks the pathing script. It works.
