Naw, I don’t hate them. I’m not super optimized in my mining so I fly up, play my character, dodge and continue. I get that speed runners will find it slows them a couple seconds, but to me it’s worth it just to imagine some bots knocked off the ledge.

If a mining node can kill you, it should have a minimum number of ore. I don’t know how many times I’ve been injured by bombs only to get a single common ore.

Yes, we get it, you hate them.
At least you told us why you hate them, since this seem more or less just the nodes form dragonflight because “oh muh bots are evil!!!”. Despite the fact this also harms regular player’s experience because of this needless thing that just makes me wish to hammer my fingers (of coarse, the people who are “anti-bot” surely don’t have a problem people hurting themselves over that) when they can just implement a kernel level anti-cheat that deep checks any running programs you have, as well hardware you have and be done with it.
Considering its a massive middle finger to bots, im glad it exists.

Only a matter of time before the bots are programmed to land directly on top of them, negating the mechanic entirely.

Well OP technically isn’t wrong.
Despite the fact that I love EZ-mine nodes. Overloading them on my warrior and getting a total of 4 taps out of them before using heroic leap to barely make it out is fun.
It’s already really easy to cheese them.
Just land next to it, watch where the bombs go, then put your character in contact with the node. It increases your mining speed on these nodes.
Some of the time they bug out and all of the bombs go directly underneath them. Which just makes it easier to cheese from a range.
i think they’re fine
