Every single trait nerfed by 50% in PvP?

All my trait tooltips are nerfed by about 50% in arena.

50 stack drain life ticks for 8k.

So much for the faster paced s2 meta

Guess the dampener meta is here to stay bois

Just to be clear: You are stating previously un-nerfed traits are now nerfed with the latest patch. Correct?

I am assuming this is to account for having 2x the traits, but yes I agree the increased DPS was needed. It should not have been reduced. I wonder if healing traits were nerfed by 50% as well? If not it could make the dampening issue even worse now.

Every single trait has a 50% reduced effect in PvP for me

I didn’t have any nerfed traits before so it’s hard to compare

I am actually ok with this as it will help with stacking issue, but this needs to also happen for healing/tanking traits as well. I can’t test as I’m at work though.

From there they can balance damage and healing as needed.

yep. every trait nerfed for me as well. traits don’t mean much anymore unless they lower a cooldown.

More nerfed traits and possible other changes from what I’m seeing and hearing feels great when there’s no clarification anywhere STILL. can’t get over the fact they do this and don’t tell us for days or even at all sometimes and we’re left to compile our own resolutions. :roll_eyes:

Yeah would be great if a dev popped in 2 weeks ago and was like “yo this is what we are doing for S2 and this is why share your thoughts below I will read through them if I have time”.

So does this mean Destro, boomy, and Ele will be doing significantly less damage and burst? The way I understand their old traits we’re responsible for a lot of their burst, similar to Ret wings traits and executioner sentence / wake of Ashes burst before the 50% nerf.

Just tested it out and hovered over all of my azerite armor inside arena.
Literally ALL azerite traits are halved. Even stat proc ones are halved.
And yet again, Blizz did not mention this at all.

with these nerfs they are only forcing people to stack so they see a tangible benefit. backwards thinking. unless you have cooldown lowering traits, having a single trait does almost nothing.

Let’s be honest, they were probably nerfed another 50% netting them 20% effectiveness in PvP. Previous nerfs were just to even out the table, if the whole table dropped (by 50%) it makes sense those would drop as wel.

I guess the question is, whichever classes were least trait dependent are going to be OP now.

I’m not sure how dependent each class was.

Would love to get some actual blue notes out but I know they have an extremely small team
