A “Full” Oceanic server, Frostmourne, was merged with “Low” servers, Dreadmaul and Thaurissan just before Shadowlands and the added two immediately became Full from Low. No other Oceanic servers showed a decline to allow for this.
At the same time, Aman’Thul, a Low population server for a long time, was merged with Dath’Remar and Khaz’goroth, two already connected servers that were listed as Medium, and they all became High after being merged, once again with no other servers showing a decline.
All these realms have remained Full or High to this day, despite an obvious drop off in player numbers since September 2020. The realm populations are complete fiction and can’t be relied upon for anything, it’s just a manipulation by Blizzard.
I have always played characters on multiple realms. When you see realms overnight change from “high” to “full” or “low” to “high”, and you know there’s been no change to the realm itself, it’s just a recategorization adjustment.
When you roll a new character on one of those mega servers, you get a warning that there may be queue times to log in. Hello? The only time there are queuetimes to log in is the day of a new expansion.
I even see new players coming a long to wow on my main server on Latam.
There are people playing wow and new people wanting to play. In my region the problem with wow is the extremely high entry price it has compared to other games that are just buy to play.
I got nothing useful to say. Just came back to try this game again. Last time I played was before Cataclysm. First off, get rid of those motorcycles. So embarassing to have put those in your video game. I love the faster leveling. New art design I’m not sure about but now lots of good hair. Tone down the make-a-person page. Super awful. That rock tornado is getting old in Night Elf Land too. I suck bad and just keep falling off the cliffs and floundering in the water. Having to hit birds in that thing on a lizard bird you can’t barely control?! Nuh-uh. Scam city is what that was. A lot of gold in that cracked up rock though. I done took it all.
you can post on your 50 alt like you boycotted SL all you want but your achievements literally give away the fact that you played and leveled to max in SL
