EULA Clarification - Rainway

Hello all,

I recently discovered Rainway, and I am wondering if I may use this to connect to my gaming desktop from my laptop or iPad to play WoW. It looks like a great way to work some gathering professions, fishing, or checking up on my AH while I’m stuck for a few hours between classes, or on my lunch hour.

I read through the EULA, and found this section

Cloud Computing: Use the Platform, including a Game, in connection with any unauthorized third-party “cloud computing” services, “cloud gaming” services, or any software or service designed to enable the unauthorized streaming or transmission of Game content from a third-party server to any device.

  • Is remote access to my desktop PC from another one of my own devices considered “cloud”?

  • Does the wording of that make streaming on Twitch against the EULA, since it is “streaming or transmission of Game content from a third-party server to any device”, with Twitch being that third party?

Grey area. Blues in the past have recommended not using any kind of remote access.

No. “Streaming” in this case refers to streaming the game to another device and having it playable there; not streaming a video of you playing.
