In a lot of respects, these very forums and the traffic going through it are their gages for interest. . Not a stress test designed to test game systems and servers.

Now. back to the EU

Bring on our brothers and sisters. . We will be hospitable hosts. . Well, at least I will be.

They are going to have server crashes if they can’t cater to 10+ million subs.

A stress test is to stress the server. The active subs is a very low amount. Retail is dead. There are millions of more players interested in Classic than there are subbed. Why not let these millions of player stress the server? That is what a stress test is for. Asking for Retail subs that have half a brain to test something that don’t care about isn’t going to stress the servers.

Common sense really.

It depends on what they were testing and none of us know what they were testing because they didn’t tell us.

Classic doesn’t have the playerbase to justify shedding load by separating by language.

If they have 20 EU servers, with 10 English, 1 Spanish, 1 Portugese, 1 German, 1 French, 1 Dutch, 1 Estonian, 1 Swedish, 1 Italian, 1 Polish, and 1 Danish server, how are they going to break that into PVP and Normal, let alone RP?

And if they add more servers, it splits the players up too much.

I mean if you’re not a well… For lack of better word, snowflake i normally use weaknecked but i’ve been told that’s more offensive… OCE guy’s are great, they’re just a snarky version of Canadian’s.

I wish our “redneck” schools in the South would teach more languages…most of the Schools in Alabama only offer Spanish as a 2nd language (but that would be the most applicable 2nd language here truth be told), but I always would have wanted to learn either French German or Japanese.

And we can speculate on how things play out. Which we all are doing.

I stand behind my 20000+ on 2 servers spread out theory. But I don’t know for sure. . What do I know?

Yea that’s a problem with all schools to be honest, in the U.S no one just teaches it beside high-learning, and maybe some lines of work. Though honestly you could try looking up other outlets yourself. But having a second langue can help a ton.

There will be millions of Subs overseas. You are releasing the greatest MMO ever today with more people on the internet. Millions of players are going to try Classic over seas. There will be millions of Subs in Asia alone too. This is how we will easily end up with 10 mil + subs.

Classic will have several times the amount of subs as retail and it is going to be funny. :rofl:

Yeah, I remember enough Spanish from High School plus working for a company that does most of it’s marketing to the Spanish Speaking community that I can understand a lot of it, but can’t speak it fluently. I would learn another language, but now I’m at the point where getting time and being willing to put forth the effort to, to be honest.

EU people are constantly in meltdown mode.

Many of us played vanilla on French timezone servers since 2015. Every day when we got home from work it was pitch black in game. Now it’s their turn.

Let them practice English.

Yea, they tried passing off french in my elementary school… Which is sorta pointless since we started it in 2nd grade and just stopped in 4th completely, without being able to learn how to make a full sentence. Spanish would of been so great to know, since everyone just assumes i know Spanish.
