EU and US accounts

I have so much stuff on my EU account that I want to bring to my US account.

  • Zulian Tiger
  • The Immortal title
  • The very first Brewfest kodo
  • etc

Why doesn’t Blizzard allow me to merge them? Why can EU and US players all play together in Betas and bring their stuff there and then on live servers they go “but it’s two different games!”

Just frustrates whoever had to change due to travelling/life changes.

I tried to spitball ideas to myself and the best I could come up with is like, maybe they have a policy related to promotional items somewhere in their esoteric black and white. I don’t think that’s relevent to what you listed, but could be a side effect of something somewhere else.

100% Legal Reasons. Id say more on the UK side than the US

Two differant divisions Two differant set of laws.

it’s not promotional items, the funny thing is in fact, promotional items from things like Blizzcon or Twitch Drops or Prime Gaming are the one category that ARE shared.

That’s… yeah I don’t even know lol. I’d think those items would be way more sensitive to regions than just old, now unobtainable, in game ones. Weird, imo. Should let more stuff cross over.

Some kinda policy differences.

I played EU too before but I live in Australia now and ping is different. Miss my goblin Castillia.

The PTR/Beta is just for testing. It isn’t pernament, and therefore, a completely different game, usually unofficial.

And if I understand correctly, because NA and EU are completely different devisions, due to laws in Europe and laws in the United States.

I have become adept at searching the forums. I often have vague memories of seeing responses or statements, just sometimes takes time and the right search criteria to find 'em.

isn’t EU data hosted in EU? So that would be a problem with the import/export laws or something.

There’s no good reason on Blizzard’s part. The people most likely to be doing region transfers are those deployed in the military. Take from that what you will.
