You can use breathe of the dying major without any issues on it.

Guys. If you don’t have BIS rank 3 essences you cant heroic raid. Didn’t you know that?
Raid leaders inspect all applicants to ensure they have the BIS line up for all essences while pugging.
Essences also are basically the only thing you even have to work at right now on an alt.
Took me less than a week to get 450 ilvl and 75 heart on a fresh 120 alt.
As well as AOTC.

Wait for SL gl cause a lot of people will not be playing it sorry, and if they do it will be 1-2 years in with the catch up mode. And if unhappy will unsub. People are sick of the lies and crap that Blizzard are delivering and SL isn’t going to save their bacon. But each to their own I say.

We play in a game where even the smallest boost in DPS could be the difference between getting a raid spot and not getting a raid spot. Why wouldn’t they go for their BIS?
If you’re using this argument literally no essences matter because you can be viable using no essences. You’re just going to a flat X% less DPS/HPS than other classes because who cares man i’m viable brooo

Your alts are competing for direct raid spots? In a competitive community where 600 sim dps matters?
My alts are doing mythic raids, so yes.

Well if you want your alt to do top of the line, hardest content in the game.
Work at it.
Essences are the only thing you have to grind more than what…a week or two? to be able to start participating in mythic raiding.
